Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Fornacino's Arturo Baresi in 5 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Damiano Granato guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Enrico Melis charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrico Melis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Enrico Melis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Imperia FC's Cristiano Centofanti threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuele Munno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Enrico Melis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristiano Centofanti came out and tried to block the shot, but Enrico Melis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute, Felice Di Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Fulvio Fortunato shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Centofanti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristiano Centofanti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Mameli went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 36 minutes of play, Fornacino's Franco Campo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damiano Granato was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 40 minutes, Emanuele Munno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuele Munno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Mameli took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Centofanti. Cristiano Centofanti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Arturo Baresi scored 3-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damiano Granato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Fornacino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Marcelli in the 57th minute. The corner ended in Fausto Marcelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Imperia FC's Damiano Granato did a great save. Franco Campo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes, Franco Proia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fornacino and the Imperia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Franco Proia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Imperia FC's Alberto Mameli in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fornacino's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Fornacino booed when Imperia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Mascitti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Baresi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fornacino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Fausto Marcelli hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Cristiano Centofanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Munno in the 81st minute of the match. If Arturo Baresi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Campo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damiano Granato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Alberto Mameli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cristiano Centofanti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Franco Campo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fornacino's Cristiano Centofanti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Munno in the 96th minute of play. Eugenio Bottega hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Imperia FC had won after a very even match.
