Federico Melchiorre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Corsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Masone's Felice Cristofari in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caronno Pertusella FC's goalie prevented a goal. Diego Zinni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Caronno Pertusella FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Armin Pezzi hit a great ball. Caronno Pertusella FC's Domenico Puja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Cristofari in the 19th minute of play. Alexander Di Lorenzo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Federico Melchiorre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alessandro Lenci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Corsi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Federico Melchiorres short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Alessandro Lenci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 28 minutes, Felice Cristofari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Cristofari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caronno Pertusella FC's Federico Melchiorre got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ettore Busillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 35 in the game by Federico Melchiorre from a close distance when the talented Alessandro Lenci managed to make a qualified save. Masone's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Fausto Testa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Lenci was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Domenico Puja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Zinni in the 40th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Diego Zinni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Masone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felice Cristofari to make the kick off. A collision led to Caronno Pertusella FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aurelio Circelli hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Diego Zinni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domenico Puja. Caronno Pertusella FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Zinni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ferdinando Bonanni hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Federico Melchiorre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caronno Pertusella FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Melchiorre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Lenci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domenico Puja made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Diego Zinni sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Testa in the 66th minute of play forced Masone's goalkeeper Alessandro Lenci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Testa in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Lenci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Caronno Pertusella FC's zone, Felice Cristofari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Puja came out of the goal and Felice Cristofari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Felice Cristofari fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Domenico Puja, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Cristofari in the 76th minute of play forced Caronno Pertusella FC's goalkeeper Domenico Puja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Zinni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Domenico Puja skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Domenico Puja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Zinni in the 81st minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Felice Cristofari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caronno Pertusella FC's Domenico Puja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fausto Testa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute of the match Aurelio Circelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Lenci skillfully saved the ball. Masone's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
