Aurelio Dionisi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Natale's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Filippo Ferrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermanno Massimini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Aurelio Dionisi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Palladino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Armando Pasinati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Pasinati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippo Ferrini in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Levata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Giovannelli to maneuver through the defense. When Ermanno Massimini came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Levata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Massimini couldn't finish the play. If Antonio Natale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ettore Giovannelli kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Anthony Mazzocchetti was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Carmine Grilli hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Antonio Natale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filippo Ferrini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Filippo Ferrini came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Lavagna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippo Ferrini couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Levata getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Achille Punta hit a great ball. Filippo Ferrini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Biagio Baur kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Levata's zone, Filippo Ferrini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Pasinati came out of the goal and Filippo Ferrini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Armando Palladino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Levata's Armando Pasinati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Ferrini in the 64th minute of play. If Filippo Ferrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Pasinati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Palladino went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Antonio Natale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Dionisi having to interfere. If Armando Palladino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
