An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro De Nardis in the 63rd minute of play forced Dorgagnano's goalkeeper Anthony Valeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cesare Spinosa in the 83rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Biagio Giuliani kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 4-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. If Alessandro De Nardis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Ciccio Forlani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boccadifalco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Boccadifalco had won after a very even match.
