Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Boccadifalco's Ciccio Forlani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Biagio Giuliani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Demetrio Ferrara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Diego De Tommasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro De Nardis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Grisignano's Corrado Melchiorre got a free kick in the 8th minute. Demetrio Gambini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Giuliani having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Demetrio Ferrara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Biagio Giuliani. The goal made the score 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ciccio Forlani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boccadifalco's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciccio Forlani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego De Tommasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Boccadifalco's Biagio Giuliani got control of the ball when Demetrio Gambini tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Demetrio Ferrara to strike the kick off in the second half.
