Anthony Valeri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Piattelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthony Valeri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Pallotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dorgagnano's zone, Eraldo Pallotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Valeri came out of the goal and Eraldo Pallotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Dorgagnano's Eugenio Briano got a free kick in the 56th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Bianco Speranza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castellanza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dorgagnano the free kick. A collision led to Castellanza getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bianco Speranza hit a great ball. When Ernesto Contaldi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Dorgagnano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Contaldi couldn't finish the play. Ferruccio Piattelli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Anthony Valeri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eraldo Pallotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anthony Valeri was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Eraldo Pallotta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eraldo Pallotta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
