With his leg Claudio Costantini managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Orbassano's Alexander Romanese fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfredo Negrini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Costantini having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Bolognesi in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Costantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Carlucci kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Fausto Bolognesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domenico Silvestre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Ronconi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Piazza Vecchia AFC's Domenico Silvestre got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Edoardo Taurino hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Piazza Vecchia AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Eraldo Leone hit a great ball. With a little luck, Orbassano's Diego Ronconi got control of the ball when Domenico Silvestre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessandro Canuto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Ronconi having to interfere. Orbassano's Diego Ronconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Canuto in the 64th minute of play. When Orbassano's Alexander Romanese in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
