Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Domenico Tassotti made the kick off which started today's match. Marola AFC's Alex Sciamanna got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Sciamanna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Cilli having to interfere. Aurelio De Lellis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Corna in the 16th minute of play. Marola AFC's Aurelio De Lellis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Corna in the 18th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Alex Sciamanna in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 23 minutes Porporana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damiano Pasinati who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Marola AFC booed when Porporana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Simonetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alberto Capuozzi fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porporana's protests and gave Alberto Capuozzi a yellow card for diving instead. Aldo Corna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aurelio De Lellis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aldo Corna came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Porporana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Corna couldn't finish the play. Domenico Tassotti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Porporana's goalkeeper Carlo Cilli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armin Tozzi. Concetto Simonetti hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. If Alex Sciamanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio De Grandis to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Marola AFC's Domenico Ricci got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Antonio De Grandis came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Marola AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio De Grandis couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Antonio De Grandis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Antonio De Grandis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marola AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Carlo Cilli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio De Grandis in the 71st minute of the match. If Domenico Tassotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Sciamanna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Carlo Cilli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Cilli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Sciamanna in the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Marola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Tassotti came free, but Aurelio De Lellis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 89 in the game by Aldo Corna from a close distance when the talented Aurelio De Lellis managed to make a qualified save. Marola AFC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio De Grandis in the 94th minute of play forced Porporana's goalkeeper Carlo Cilli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Tassotti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the game, Aldo Corna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aurelio De Lellis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
