Adriano Luciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amedeo Fata was a little too slow when Ferruccio Biscotti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ennio Saraceni hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ferdinando Aquilino, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ferruccio Biscotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Amedeo Fata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferruccio Biscotti in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amedeo Fata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Aurelia's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinando Maio came free, but Ciro Cangiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Aurelia getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alfonso Picca hit a great ball. Franco Castagna was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Anthony Ferri charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony Ferri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Aurelia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Luminasio:s goal. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Luminasio. Franco Castagna stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciro Cangiano. 2-1. Bianco Bottaro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When Adriano Luciano came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Aurelia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Luciano couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ferruccio Biscotti made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Biscotti in the 51st minute of play forced Luminasio's goalkeeper Amedeo Fata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Alex Mazzola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luminasio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aurelia the free kick. After 52 played minutes Luminasio got a freekick which was hit by Alex Mazzola. Amedeo Fata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Luciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Luminasio getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alex Mazzola hit a great ball. Amedeo Fata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Biscotti, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Adriano Luciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Fata having to interfere. Amedeo Fata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferruccio Biscotti's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 69 played minutes Luminasio got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Maio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Biscotti in the 72nd minute of play forced Luminasio's goalkeeper Amedeo Fata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinando Maio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ciro Cangiano made a huge save. Ferruccio Biscotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Fata having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Aurelio Tassotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinando Maio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ciro Cangiano made a huge save.
