In the 5th minute Corrado Molinario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Buffone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Concetto Bonfigli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alvise Manna struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Amedeo Cardano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sesto San Giovanni AFC. Mamiano FC's Alvaro Moreschi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Concetto Bonfigli came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mamiano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Bonfigli couldn't finish the play. Amedeo Cardano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Mamiano FC's Alvaro Moreschi got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Arrigo Di Luca sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mamiano FC's Amedeo Cardano didn't even have to move. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamiano FC's goalkeeper Amedeo Cardano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Corrado Molinario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aurelio Buffone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Concetto Bonfigli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Molinario in the 36th minute of play forced Sesto San Giovanni AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Buffone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Alvise Manna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amedeo Cardano. Mamiano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvise Manna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 44th minute Concetto Bonfigli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Buffone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Concetto Bonfigli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the game, Sesto San Giovanni AFC's Carlo Gallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amedeo Cardano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Alberigo Di Iorio hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Corrado Molinario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alvise Manna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Aurelio Buffone managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Mamiano FC's Corrado Molinario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 76 minutes, Alvise Manna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sesto San Giovanni AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Manna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amedeo Cardano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Gallo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amedeo Cardano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Sesto San Giovanni AFC booed when Mamiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Sabatini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlo Gallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Amedeo Cardano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mamiano FC's Amedeo Cardano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Gallo in the 95th minute of play.
