If Dennis Cavanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Arturo Coscarella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Arturo Coscarella fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Borgo Pieve Sestina FC booed when Mariano Comense AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Causio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlo Perilli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Claudio Savini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgo Pieve Sestina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mariano Comense AFC the free kick. Claudio Savini kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes, Mariano Comense AFC's Donato Ruzzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florian Lucchetta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mariano Comense AFC reached it. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Dennis Cavanna put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edmondo De Vito. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arturo Coscarella made the kick off in the second half. Fulvio Palmucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Coscarella in the 61st minute of play forced Borgo Pieve Sestina FC's goalkeeper Florian Lucchetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Borgo Pieve Sestina FC's Dennis Cavanna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Fulvio Palmucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Lucchetta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Palmucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
