Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Grassina's Emilio Grifoni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Edoardo Ascani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grassina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Cristoforo AFC the free kick. The supporters of San Cristoforo AFC booed when Grassina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Ascani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Grassina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emiliano Bosco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fabiano Colaneri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Enzo Giolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Attilio Bocchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edoardo Ascani kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience cheered loudly when Bianco Cassone's long shot in the 18th minute became 1-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Enzo Giolo. Fabio Nelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrea Chiarelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Emilio Grifoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Chiarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Grifoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fabiano Colaneri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 36 in the game by Fabiano Colaneri from a close distance when the talented Enzo Giolo managed to make a qualified save. Grassina's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in San Cristoforo AFC's zone, Fabio Nelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Chiarelli came out of the goal and Fabio Nelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Emilio Grifoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grassina's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Grifoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrea Chiarelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrea Chiarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Nelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Filippo Marini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea Chiarelli went to the wrong direction when Attilio Bocchi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Nelli got free with Andrea Chiarelli in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiano Colaneri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Giolo having to interfere. Edoardo Ascani kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Fabio Nelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grassina's Enzo Giolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Bosco in the 81st minute of play. Emilio Grifoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Chiarelli having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Cristoforo AFC's goalkeeper Andrea Chiarelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emiliano Bosco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Enzo Giolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Colaneri in the 92nd minute of play forced Grassina's goalkeeper Enzo Giolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th match minute, San Cristoforo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Marini to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Attilio Bocchi in the 99th minute really tested Andrea Chiarelli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. San Cristoforo AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Grassina for a fine match.
