In the 91stth minute of the game Diego Testa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Caterina's Ferruccio Carta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Adriano Checchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Molara's Filippo Di Felice got control of the ball when Cristoforo Gerosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Adriano Checchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santa Caterina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
