Ferruccio Brandolini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessio Puce's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute, Bruno Brillante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Villazzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Barone to maneuver through the defense. Ceriano AFC's Ferdinando Camerlengo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. Villazzano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceriano AFC the free kick. After 65 played minutes Villazzano got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Fortunato. In the 68th minute, Dave Petrocchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferdinando Camerlengo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Villazzano got a freekick which was hit by Diego Genovese. A collision led to Villazzano getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Diego Genovese hit a great ball. Ferruccio Brandolini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Puce, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Diego Genovese kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Frank Di Matteo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosimo Ceresoli was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Cosimo Ceresoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Di Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
