Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Comunardo Borgatello got the match started through his kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Emanuele Orrore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maliseti's Dario Tartaglia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amos Petruzzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dario Tartaglia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amos Petruzzi got free with Dario Tartaglia in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Masci struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Anfilogino Petrella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maliseti. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Christian Masci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maliseti's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Masci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anfilogino Petrella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Christian Masci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Comunardo Borgatello took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anfilogino Petrella. Anfilogino Petrella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Emanuele Orrore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dario Tartaglia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amos Petruzzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Tartaglia having to interfere. If Amos Petruzzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maliseti's Dario Tartaglia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Maliseti from getting a goal against them. Anfilogino Petrella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Masci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Tartaglia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Orrore in the 45th minute of play. After 47 played minutes, Maliseti's Amos Serra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anfilogino Petrella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maliseti reached it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuele Orrore to strike the kick off in the second half. If Comunardo Borgatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Anthony De Donatis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Rescalda getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Enrico Simone hit a great ball. Christian Masci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthony De Donatis charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony De Donatis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maliseti booed when Rescalda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony De Donatis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Christian Masci came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Maliseti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Masci couldn't finish the play. Alexander Formaggio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anfilogino Petrella having to make a save. Christian Masci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Anfilogino Petrella skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Enrico Simone was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 73rd minute, Enrico Simone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuele Orrore's late challenge caught a Maliseti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuele Orrore helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuele Orrore hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Christian Masci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Amos Petruzzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rescalda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Petruzzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Christian Masci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Christian Masci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Amos Petruzzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
