If Carter Ceci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Caccia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmine Arpaia's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Carter Ceci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Carter Ceci fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Leo's protests and gave Carter Ceci a yellow card for diving instead. Carter Ceci hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Fausto Proietti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Caccia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Arpaia in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match, Angelo Sanna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anthony Di Toma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alberto Padula kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Carmine Arpaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, San Leo's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Proietti came free, but Alfonso Caccia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Proietti to make the kick off. Carmine Arpaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Alfonso Caccia made a huge save. Anthony Di Toma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Raniolo's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Carter Ceci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthony Di Toma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, San Leo's goalkeeper Alfonso Caccia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmine Arpaia. Carmine Arpaia might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Caccia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmine Arpaia ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of San Leo booed when Cadimare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Ferraro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthony Di Toma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Sanna, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 73 played minutes Cadimare FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Scacchi. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Carter Ceci sped through Cadimare FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anthony Di Toma. Alberto Padula kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Fausto Proietti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
