Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emiliano Pavia started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Taranto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Volpiano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Besanigo the free kick. Ferdinando Taranto hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Volpiano FC's Florian Allemandi got a free kick in the 5th minute. Cristoforo Ferri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fortunato Apolloni went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Emiliano Pavia took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cristoforo Ferri to make any attempt to save it. When Florian Allemandi fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volpiano FC's protests and gave Florian Allemandi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Volpiano FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Florian Allemandi hit a great ball. Ciccio Pierdomenico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Fiorentino in the 17th minute of play. Bruno Fiorentino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Pierdomenico having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Troiano during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emiliano Troiano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Bruno Fiorentino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fortunato Apolloni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Besanigo's zone, Alessio Bearzot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciccio Pierdomenico came out of the goal and Alessio Bearzot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciccio Pierdomenico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Fiorentino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Alessio Bearzot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciccio Pierdomenico was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Bruno Fiorentino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Pierdomenico having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Volpiano FC's goalkeeper Cristoforo Ferri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The wind increased when Alessio Bearzot made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Fortunato Apolloni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristoforo Ferri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Apolloni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fortunato Apolloni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessio Bearzot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciccio Pierdomenico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Fiorentino in the 62nd minute. Ciccio Pierdomenico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Bearzot in the 64th minute of the match. Ciccio Pierdomenico was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Alessio Bearzot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alessio Bearzot really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. A collision led to Volpiano FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alex Alleva hit a great ball. Dino Ruscitti, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cristoforo Ferri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Apolloni in the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Besanigo's Ciccio Pierdomenico got control of the ball when Bruno Fiorentino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristoforo Ferri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Pavia, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The supporters of Volpiano FC booed when Besanigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Troiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
