Fabrizio Toccaceli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Piccioli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenico Lupi's late challenge caught a Salona AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenico Lupi helped the player get up and apologised. Domenico Lupi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Cella's Damiano Azzolina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 10thth minute of the game Camillo Vinci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cella's Fabrizio Toccaceli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Salona AFC's zone, Arturo Rotondi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ercole Moschetta came out of the goal and Arturo Rotondi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camillo Vinci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cella's goalkeeper Fabrizio Toccaceli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Edmondo Fata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Zulli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrizio Toccaceli having to make a save. In the 47th minute Augusto Spione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Toccaceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damiano Azzolina to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Salona AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Rotondi came free, but Ercole Moschetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cella's Fabrizio Toccaceli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Vinci in the 52nd minute of play. The Cella fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Cella's Arturo Rotondi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cella's Damiano Azzolina got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Piccioli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cella's Fabrizio Toccaceli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Vinci in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Vinci in the 70th minute of play forced Cella's goalkeeper Fabrizio Toccaceli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmondo Fata hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Salona AFC's Alexander Zulli broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 83rd minute, Camillo Vinci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Anselmo De Marchi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salona AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cella the free kick. The referee gave Cella a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Spione got free with Fabrizio Toccaceli in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cella's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
