But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Concetto Cruciani couldn't finish the play. Fabio Vespucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lobbi's Edoardo Baggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Vespucci in the 23rd minute of play. Lobbi's Ernesto Orsi got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
After 52 played minutes Laghetto got a freekick which was hit by Diego Della Torre. 53 minutes into the match, Lobbi's Dennis Desiderio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Lobbi's Edoardo Baggio got control of the ball when Concetto Cruciani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laghetto's Enrico Scurti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander De Simone in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Lobbi's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Vespucci came free, but Edoardo Baggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lobbi's zone, Fabio Vespucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edoardo Baggio came out of the goal and Fabio Vespucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Concetto Cruciani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laghetto's Enrico Scurti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander De Simone in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th match minute, Lobbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Gizzi to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
