Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arrigo Casciano started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Dario Giovannelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmondo Nanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Giovannelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alessandro Forlani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Damiano Casale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrigo Casciano spun around in front of the goal 19 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Banni FC's goal. In the 23rd minute Fulvio Mattei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Casale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Giovannelli struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Edmondo Nanni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casale San Vito. Edmondo Nanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Giovannelli in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Dario Giovannelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Banni FC's Edmondo Nanni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Casciano in the 43rd minute of play. Damiano Casale made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Alessandro Forlani sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Casale San Vito booed when Banni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Basilico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmondo Nanni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Giovannelli in the 58th minute. Alessandro Forlani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Damiano Casale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Casale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Mattei in the 61st minute of play. Dario Giovannelli scored 0-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmondo Nanni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With splendid footwork Arrigo Casciano arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-2 by the left pole in the game's 66th minute. Arrigo Casciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Fabrizi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes of play, Casale San Vito's Dario Giovannelli made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmondo Nanni was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Angelo Fabrizi came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Banni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Fabrizi couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Fulvio Mattei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Casale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alessandro Forlani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damiano Casale was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. If Fulvio Mattei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
