The wind increased when Fulvio Mattei made the kick off in the second half. The Banni FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmondo Nanni should have stopped the shot. Enrico Scurti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Laghetto's Alvaro Sciascia got a free kick in the 78th minute. Fulvio Mattei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Scurti having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Banni FC's goalkeeper Edmondo Nanni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fulvio Mattei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Enrico Scurti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
