Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dave Fiorentino came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Villa Cheloni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Fiorentino couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Rainuzzi's Carmine Cocca got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Dave Fiorentino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camillo Marchetti during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Rainuzzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Marchetti to maneuver through the defense. With 32 minutes on the clock, Antonio Franceschi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rainuzzi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Villa Cheloni FC a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Biagio Giannetta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rainuzzi's Ciro Lemme. 1-1. A collision led to Rainuzzi getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Camillo Marchetti hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Amedeo Cavallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Lemme was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 41 minutes, Ernesto Piscopo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rainuzzi and the Villa Cheloni FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Rainuzzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Piscopo to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Lemme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Fiorentino in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Edoardo Bencivenni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Fiorentino was the one to do the kick off. Edoardo Bencivenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 58 minutes, Edoardo Bencivenni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rainuzzi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Bencivenni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edoardo Bencivenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armin Tagliente kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Rainuzzi got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Bencivenni. Edoardo Bencivenni stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Villa Cheloni FC's defenders and the ball went out. Rainuzzi appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. After having played for 76 minutes, Edoardo Bencivenni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rainuzzi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Bencivenni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amedeo Cavallo scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Lemme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Bianco Castellazzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Villa Cheloni FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
