Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claudio Rotili made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Ennio Carnevale made a precise shot to the right of Francesco Giocondo. Dairago's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Dairago's Claudio Rotili in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tortiano's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Tortiano's Frank Piccinini got control of the ball when Angelo Michelini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enzo Macchia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Rotili struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Frank Piccinini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dairago. In the 16th minute, Enzo Macchia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tortiano's Flavio Aureli got a free kick in the 19th minute. Angelo Michelini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 22 in the game by Angelo Michelini from a close distance when the talented Frank Piccinini managed to make a qualified save. Tortiano's players were relieved. Tortiano's Enzo Macchia got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Tortiano's goalkeeper Frank Piccinini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Michelini. Claudio Rotili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Rotili in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Piccinini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Piccinini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Rotili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tortiano's Flavio Aureli got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Enzo Macchia made the kick off in the second half. If Enzo Macchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Tortiano defense, Claudio Rotili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Piccinini. The Tortiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Piccinini should have stopped the shot. Tortiano's Enzo Macchia got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dairago's Camillo Pettinelli got a free kick in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Dairago's goalkeeper Francesco Giocondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ennio Carnevale. Frank Piccinini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Rotili in the 84th minute of play. Ennio Carnevale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tortiano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
