Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cesare De Angelis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Tortiano's Enzo Macchia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 8th minute, Fausto Di Filippo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Piccinini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 11 minutes, Ennio Carnevale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tortiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ennio Carnevale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ennio Carnevale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Di Filippo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Piccinini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Di Filippo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Bologna AFC booed when Tortiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Scoca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesare De Angelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Frank Piccinini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Bologna AFC's Biagio Prosperi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Biagio Prosperi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bologna AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Biagio Prosperi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Enzo Macchia might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Iannotti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enzo Macchia ran back to his position shaking his head. Enzo Macchia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ciro Iannotti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ennio Carnevale in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Enzo Macchia made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Bologna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Carnevale came free, but Ciro Iannotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bologna AFC booed when Tortiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Domenici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Iannotti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Bologna AFC's Ciro Iannotti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Macchia in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Enzo Macchia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Iannotti was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Enzo Macchia took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Iannotti. Ciro Iannotti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Ennio Carnevale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Iannotti having to interfere.
