After a rather tough play, Murano FC's Anfilogino Guadagnoli got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes, Sopramonte AFC's Corrado Teti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demetrio Lupi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sopramonte AFC reached it. When Cesare Moretta fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sopramonte AFC's protests and gave Cesare Moretta a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sopramonte AFC's Cesare Moretta got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute, Fabrizio Righi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amedeo Bani got free with Diego Costantino in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amedeo Bani did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Diego Costantino 29 minutes into the match. Anfilogino Guadagnoli's late challenge caught a Sopramonte AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Guadagnoli helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Murano FC got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Guadagnoli. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Murano FC's goalkeeper Demetrio Lupi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvaro Ciccone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Costantino having to interfere. Diego Costantino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Ciccone in the 40th minute of play. Alvaro Ciccone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Diego Costantino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Costantino made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Amedeo Bani sent off a good shot on target. Anfilogino Guadagnoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. If Alvaro Ciccone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesare Demaria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Demetrio Lupi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 63rd minute, Amedeo Bani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Ciccone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Diego Costantino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sopramonte AFC's zone, Amedeo Bani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Costantino came out of the goal and Amedeo Bani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Costantino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Ciccone, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Sopramonte AFC's Fortunato Collovati got a free kick in the 87th minute. Diego Costantino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Ciccone's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Alvaro Ciccone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Costantino having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Murano FC had played much better football throughout.
