Gorla Maggiore's Alberto Cesareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Contaldi in the 15th minute of play. Eraldo Del Greco struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Alberto Cesareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Fortunato. After 26 minutes, Diego Di Girolamo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorla Maggiore and the San Fortunato players grew even worse after the yellow card. The nice shot from Federico Nobili in the 31stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Anthony Palma had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 34th minute Eraldo Del Greco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Cesareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Contaldi in the 40th minute of play forced Gorla Maggiore's goalkeeper Alberto Cesareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Armando Cancemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Flocco charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Flocco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flavio Flocco hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Armando Cancemi made the kick off in the second half. San Fortunato's Anthony Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Nobili in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gorla Maggiore's Diego Di Girolamo got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Federico Nobili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anthony Palma was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. San Fortunato's Anthony Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Cancemi in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, San Fortunato's Claudio Tripodi got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 79th minute of the match, Eraldo Del Greco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alberto Cesareo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Daniele Contaldi came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the San Fortunato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Contaldi couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Federico Nobili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gorla Maggiore's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Nobili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthony Palma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthony Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Nobili in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Gorla Maggiore getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Diego Di Girolamo hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match, Eraldo Del Greco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alberto Cesareo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. San Fortunato were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Gorla Maggiore to leave the ground with a draw.
