Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlo Simone started the match with the kick off. Claudio Cesareo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Carlo Simone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgiliana's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlo Simone 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Mastrangelo in the 19th minute of play forced Palese's goalkeeper Anthony Penna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Carlo Simone got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bruno Camerlengo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Comunardo Di Lullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Bruno Camerlengo made a precise shot to the right of Comunardo Di Lullo. Virgiliana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 29th minute, Domenico Mastrangelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Concetto Di Cesare's late challenge caught a Palese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concetto Di Cesare helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Virgiliana getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Concetto Di Cesare hit a great ball. Carlo Simone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Di Lullo having to interfere. Carlo Simone did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Comunardo Di Lullo 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Carlo Simone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Simone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domenico Mastrangelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Penna having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Ascenzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Comunardo Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Simone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgiliana's Comunardo Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Simone in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Palese's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Ascenzi came free, but Anthony Penna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Virgiliana getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Claudio Cesareo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Palese's Anthony Penna got control of the ball when Alfonso Ascenzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Virgiliana's Alfonso Ascenzi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anthony Penna. Anthony Penna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. If Domenico Mastrangelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When %teams%'s Alfonso Ascenzi was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 3-3 just inside the left pole, 79 minutes into the game. Anthony Penna was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. If Domenico Mastrangelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elia Grilli kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Camerlengo in the 86th minute of play forced Virgiliana's goalkeeper Comunardo Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Concetto Di Cesare was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Virgiliana's Concetto Di Cesare got a free kick in the 87th minute. Comunardo Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Simone in the 88th minute of play. Arturo Malvezzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comunardo Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Simone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
