Amedeo Gentile came out of the goal and Flavio Maiorano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Bolli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Amedeo Gentile made a huge save. A collision led to Settimo Torinese FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bianco Di Santo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Flavio Maiorano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moracchino's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Maiorano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amedeo Gentile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
