Fulvio Castagna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Fiordelisi having to interfere. Aurelio Mastronardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Filippo Alfieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Cristoforo Di Giandomenico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cerodolo FC's Filippo Alfieri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Fiordelisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Pavia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristoforo Di Giandomenico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Alfieri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristoforo Di Giandomenico made a kick off. Claudio Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Castagna, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Augusto Ciaccia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Malagrotta's Aurelio Mastronardi got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Malagrotta got a freekick which was hit by Donato Muciaccia. Fulvio Castagna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Fiordelisi having to interfere. The Malagrotta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
