Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bruno Bonanni started the match with the kick off. Alex Di Lorenzo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Elia Niccolai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sestri Ponente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Niccolai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fedele Orsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosimo Mantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Piscopo went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Enzo Piscopo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sestri Ponente FC's Cosimo Mantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Bonanni in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Bonanni in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosimo Mantini saved Sestri Ponente FC from getting behind. Bernardo Martelli charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Martelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sestri Ponente FC's Bernardo Martelli got a free kick in the 18th minute. Enzo Piscopo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Mantini having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Sestri Ponente FC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Puce. Enzo Piscopo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Orsi's late challenge caught a Bellariva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Orsi helped the player get up and apologised. Arturo Orsi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Bonanni in the 29th minute of play forced Sestri Ponente FC's goalkeeper Cosimo Mantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosimo Mantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Piscopo in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Bonanni in the 33rd minute of play forced Sestri Ponente FC's goalkeeper Cosimo Mantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Bonanni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cosimo Mantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sestri Ponente FC's Elia Niccolai got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ettore Verdini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Sestri Ponente FC were awarded a corner. Alberigo Ferrini went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Sestri Ponente FC booed when Bellariva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Di Lorenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elia Niccolai struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Fedele Orsi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sestri Ponente FC. Elia Niccolai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Orsi having to interfere. If Bruno Bonanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Enzo Piscopo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bellariva's Bruno Bonanni got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosimo Mantini was a little too slow when Bruno Bonanni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 81st minute Ettore Verdini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Orsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Alex Di Lorenzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sestri Ponente FC's Cosimo Mantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th match minute, Sestri Ponente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Cameli to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 92 in the game by Enzo Piscopo from a close distance when the talented Cosimo Mantini managed to make a qualified save. Sestri Ponente FC's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Di Lorenzo during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Bellariva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Di Lorenzo to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Ettore Verdini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Orsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bellariva played a much better game than Sestri Ponente FC and deserved their victory. The Sestri Ponente FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
