When Angelo Di Meo fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vigna Di Valle's protests and gave Angelo Di Meo a yellow card for diving instead. Francesco Baruffa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fedele Orsi having to make a save. Bellariva's Fedele Orsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Baruffa in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Alessio Di Clemente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vigna Di Valle and the Bellariva players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vigna Di Valle getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alessio Di Clemente hit a great ball. If Cesare Paoletti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, Vigna Di Valle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Toninelli to maneuver through the defense. When Cesare Paoletti came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Vigna Di Valle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Paoletti couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Alex Di Lorenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fedele Orsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Paoletti in the 44th minute of the match. Francesco Baruffa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Orsi having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesare Paoletti made a kick off. Cesare Paoletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fedele Orsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vigna Di Valle's zone, Enzo Piscopo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Cipriani came out of the goal and Enzo Piscopo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Vigna Di Valle's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Piscopo came free, but Alfredo Cipriani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrizio Toninelli's late challenge caught a Bellariva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrizio Toninelli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Fabrizio Toninelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Alex Di Lorenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arrigo Andreola, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fedele Orsi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bellariva's Fedele Orsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Paoletti in the 87th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
