Bernardo Scirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Villa Viani AFC's Armin Fontana got a free kick in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armin Fontana during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armin Fontana kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Campocroce AFC's Cristoforo De Vecchis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Federico Baciadonne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Villa Viani AFC got a freekick which was hit by Armin Fontana. Federico Belardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Scirea in the 28th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Campocroce AFC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto De Toni. If Enzo Tuzzolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Di Croce kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Villa Viani AFC's Enzo Tuzzolino pulled a muscle in his back after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 43 minutes into the game, Alessandro Gualtieri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campocroce AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Viani AFC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Campocroce AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villa Viani AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Villa Viani AFC's Dino Battisti got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armin Allegretti.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amedeo Poletti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Federico Belardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Scirea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Scirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Belardi having to interfere. If Amedeo Poletti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amos Pittelli hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Armin Allegretti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Poletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Armin Allegretti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Poletti in the 69th minute of the match. Armin Bomba's late challenge caught a Campocroce AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armin Bomba helped the player get up and apologised. Federico Baciadonne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes Villa Viani AFC got a freekick which was hit by Armin Ianni. Federico Belardi was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Federico Baciadonne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Federico Baciadonne really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 83 minutes, Cristoforo De Vecchis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campocroce AFC and the Villa Viani AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Villa Viani AFC booed when Campocroce AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo De Vecchis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amedeo Poletti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
