The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Civesio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Baur came free, but Enzo Pallotta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Civesio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Nanni to maneuver through the defense. Alessio Fontanive struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Enzo Pallotta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Igea Marina. Alessio Fontanive fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Pallotta having to interfere. Enzo Pallotta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Baur, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Flavio Nanni got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Igea Marina booed when Civesio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Nanni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davide Baur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo Lauri got free with Ennio Di Tullio in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filippo Lauri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ennio Di Tullio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Civesio AFC's zone, Alessio Fontanive stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Pallotta came out of the goal and Alessio Fontanive tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Concetto Volponi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Pallotta having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Civesio AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! Civesio AFC:s Enzo Pallotta showed great skill when he stopped Claudio Basso:s penalty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filippo Lauri made a kick off. Davide Baur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Davide Baur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igea Marina's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Baur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Pallotta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filippo Lauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Civesio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Baur came free, but Enzo Pallotta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Davide Baur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igea Marina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Baur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrico Teti's late challenge caught a Igea Marina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrico Teti helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Civesio AFC's Enrico Teti got a free kick in the 76th minute. Alessio Fontanive struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Enzo Pallotta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Igea Marina. Concetto Volponi's late challenge caught a Civesio AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concetto Volponi helped the player get up and apologised. Concetto Volponi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Alessio Fontanive blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Pallotta having to make a save. A hard shot 92 in the game by Aurelio Uguccioni from a close distance when the talented Enzo Pallotta managed to make a qualified save. Civesio AFC's players were relieved. The Igea Marina players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Civesio AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
