The referee ignored Luciana AFC's protests and gave Adriano Toto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Luciana AFC's Adriano Toto got a free kick in the 8th minute. Bernardo Imperiale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edoardo Bucci having to interfere. Edmondo Piccoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Bernardi having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Damiano Lopez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Bernardi skillfully saved the ball. After 23 minutes, Antonello Martano made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Luciana AFC's Edoardo Bucci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aldo Bernardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Casiraghi in the 31st minute of the match. If Edmondo Piccoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Imperiale in the 46th minute of play forced Luciana AFC's goalkeeper Edoardo Bucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damiano Lopez shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The Luciana AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villa Adriana FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonello Martano to make the kick off. Edoardo Bucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonello Martano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciana AFC's Edoardo Bucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Luciana AFC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Villa Adriana FC's Antonello Martano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edoardo Bucci. That made the score 0-2 after 72 minutes of play. In the 75th minute, Amedeo Faiella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76thth minute of the game Dario Casiraghi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Adriana FC's Aldo Bernardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Casiraghi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonello Martano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Edoardo Bucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bernardo Imperiale came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Villa Adriana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Imperiale couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Piccoli in the 86th minute of play forced Villa Adriana FC's goalkeeper Aldo Bernardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Luciana AFC's zone, Bernardo Imperiale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edoardo Bucci came out of the goal and Bernardo Imperiale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Bernardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Piccoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Antonello Martano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Adriana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonello Martano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edoardo Bucci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bernardo Imperiale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Villa Adriana FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
