Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlo Sacchi made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Cantonazzo's Daniele Rosetta got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Dercogna's Aurelio Romanese broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Demetrio Moriggi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinando Caroli in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Di Paola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Sacchi in the 22nd minute of play forced Dercogna's goalkeeper Dave Gaeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Carlo Sacchi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dercogna booed when Cantonazzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Mazzei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demetrio Moriggi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demetrio Moriggi might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Di Paola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demetrio Moriggi ran back to his position shaking his head. Dave Gaeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Brini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe De Santis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Emanuele Fiori took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enzo Di Paola. Cantonazzo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Demetrio Moriggi might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Di Paola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demetrio Moriggi ran back to his position shaking his head. Enzo Di Paola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Caroli in the 59th minute of play. Dave Gaeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Sacchi in the 63rd minute of the match. Bernardo Brini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dave Gaeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Cantonazzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damiano Galante to maneuver through the defense. When Ferdinando Caroli came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Dercogna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Caroli couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Caroli in the 77th minute of play forced Cantonazzo's goalkeeper Enzo Di Paola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Gaeta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Brini in the 79th minute. If Ferdinando Caroli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Sacchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Demetrio Moriggi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Di Paola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
