The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Mussi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Bianco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonello Berardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Di Claudio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Adriano Niccolai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Comunardo Farese made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Bernolda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Di Claudio came free, but Antonello Berardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Niccolais short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Comunardo Farese to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 84th minute, Damiano Aversano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Alvaro Mussi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Farese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Alberto Bianco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonello Berardo. Bernolda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Bianco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 95 minutes into the match, Budrio's Achille Di Claudio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonello Berardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
