Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angelo Di Clemente got the match started through his kick off. Ferruccio Giannantonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Festa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Buffalora FC were awarded a corner. Adriano Di Nunzio went to the cornerflag to take it. Adriano Di Nunzio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Alvise Buffone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buffalora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cagliari the free kick. 13 minutes into the match, Angelo Santone sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Alessio Di Ianni threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Angelo Santone this time. Antonio Festa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferruccio Giannantonio having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Angelo Di Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buffalora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Di Clemente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Di Clemente in the 26th minute of play forced Cagliari's goalkeeper Ferruccio Giannantonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Anfilogino Rotolo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Anfilogino Rotolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anfilogino Rotolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Di Ianni having to interfere. If Anfilogino Rotolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Mangione in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alessio Di Ianni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Anfilogino Rotolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Mangione in the 57th minute of play forced Buffalora FC's goalkeeper Alessio Di Ianni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eraldo Rinaldi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Angelo Santone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Mangione fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Di Ianni having to interfere. Buffalora FC's Antonio Festa got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferruccio Giannantonio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Di Clemente in the 72nd minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 75th minute when Anfilogino Rotolo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Emilio Costacurta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alessio Di Ianni. Buffalora FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Antonio Festa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ferruccio Giannantonio. The goal made the score 1-1. 91 minutes into the match, Buffalora FC's Angelo Di Clemente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferruccio Giannantonio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Arturo Mangione left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cagliari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cagliari's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
