Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arrigo Benedetti made the kick off and thus started the match. Rotta FC's Alberto Mara got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesare Massimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Del Monaco having to interfere. Fausto Del Monaco made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Alberto Mara sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Barillari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arrigo Benedetti in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Iezzi saved Rotta FC from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Bufalotta's Alexander Barillari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortunato Iezzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arrigo Benedetti scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fortunato Iezzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arrigo Benedetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Mara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Del Monaco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Alexander Barillari notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Rotta FC's Fortunato Iezzi. Fortunato Iezzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Cesare Massimi made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Arrigo Benedetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bufalotta's supporters rose to their feet, but Arrigo Benedetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Iezzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Mara in the 56th minute of play forced Bufalotta's goalkeeper Fausto Del Monaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Bufalotta's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Mara came free, but Fausto Del Monaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesare Massimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Rotta FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Pugliese. Fortunato Iezzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Barillari in the 80th minute. If Arrigo Benedetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Pugliese's late challenge caught a Bufalotta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Pugliese helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Rotta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Pugliese to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Vani, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Bufalotta's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Massimi came free, but Fausto Del Monaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Mara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Fausto Del Monaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Vasco's late challenge caught a Bufalotta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bufalotta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
