The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ennio Antonioni in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Concetto Pennetta saved Terra Amata from getting behind. Godo AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dennis Riccitelli in the 13th minute. Godo AFC's Dennis Riccitelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Concetto Pennetta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alessandro Federici's late challenge caught a Terra Amata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessandro Federici helped the player get up and apologised. Aurelio Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Casale in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Godo AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Carlo Di Loreto hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Amos Casale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amos Casale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Amos Casale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Polidori was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Aurelio Polidori made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ettore Marulli sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Amos Casale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ettore Marulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Polidori having to interfere. Aurelio Polidori made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Ettore Marulli sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Ercole Lauro made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Godo AFC's Cristoforo Mingione got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Ettore Marulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Casale in the 63rd minute of play forced Godo AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ettore Marulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amos Casale in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Polidori saved Godo AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Amos Casale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terra Amata's supporters rose to their feet, but Amos Casale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Polidori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Polidori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Marulli, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Ettore Granati sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Polidori skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Casale in the 93rd minute of play forced Godo AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Di Loreto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
