Alessandro Zappacosta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Di Donato's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Alessandro Zappacosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Vespucci in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Pollastrini in the 10th minute of play forced Borgo Bainsizza's goalkeeper Fabiano Di Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Pollastrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Di Toro having to interfere. Claudio Pollastrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fabiano Di Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Pollastrini in the 17th minute of play forced Borgo Bainsizza's goalkeeper Fabiano Di Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Zappacosta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Di Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Carlo Di Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Zappacosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Di Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlo Di Donato succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. If Carlo Di Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Pollastrini in the 40th minute of play forced Borgo Bainsizza's goalkeeper Fabiano Di Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Davide Mazza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Borgo Bainsizza's Fabiano Di Toro. Fabiano Di Toro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the game, Daniele Croce recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alessandro Zappacosta. Daniele Croce showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davide Mazza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Davide Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Vespucci hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Claudio Pollastrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fabiano Di Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Eleuteri kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Claudio Pollastrini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabiano Di Toro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Carlo Di Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessandro Zappacosta. Mellana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlo Di Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Borgo Bainsizza's Damiano Vespucci got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Borgo Bainsizza's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Davide Mazza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Claudio Pollastrini might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabiano Di Toro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Pollastrini ran back to his position shaking his head. Borgo Bainsizza's Fabiano Di Toro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Borgo Bainsizza from getting a goal against them. Florian Stellato kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Claudio Pollastrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Davide Mazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Fabiano Di Toro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Mellana getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ercole Trombatore hit a great ball. Daniele Croce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Zappacosta having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
