Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Beppe Nicolini started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Corrado Santacroce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corrado Santacroce scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Pascali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, Camillo Giacchetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Caltana's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Nicolini came free, but Aurelio Berardini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Savignano A Mare's Beppe Nicolini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurelio Berardini. Aurelio Berardini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Santacroce in the 26th minute of play forced Savignano A Mare's goalkeeper Ernesto Pascali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Alessandrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aurelio Berardini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Alessandrini came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelio Berardini could save by the left post. Ernesto Pascali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corrado Santacroce in the 33rd minute of the match. Corrado Santacroce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Pascali having to interfere. Dario Alessandrini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Berardini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Savignano A Mare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Tedeschi to maneuver through the defense.
The wind increased when Corrado Santacroce made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Savignano A Mare's zone, Ferdinando Barbanti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Pascali came out of the goal and Ferdinando Barbanti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dario Alessandrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Aurelio Berardini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Camillo De Simone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Pascali was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Caltana booed when Savignano A Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Barbanti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beppe Nicolini scored 2-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Berardini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Beppe Nicolini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Ferdinando Barbanti could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Ernesto Pascali however easily saved by the left post.
