Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Anconetta FC's Christian Fiore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Fabiano Placidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Barbanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Christian Fiore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Musigliano AFC's Armin Iacovacci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Musigliano AFC's Armin Iacovacci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Dominici in the 12th minute of play. When Fabrizio Crema came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Anconetta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Crema couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute Christian Fiore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armin Iacovacci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Dino Toccaceli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anconetta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Musigliano AFC the free kick. A collision led to Anconetta FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dino Toccaceli hit a great ball. 0-1 became the score in the 27th minute when Aldo Campana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anconetta FC's Christian Fiore got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fabrizio Crema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Fiore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Armin Iacovacci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Musigliano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Zoccolo to maneuver through the defense. If Christian Fiore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Fiore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Armin Iacovacci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armin Iacovacci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Fiore in the 42nd minute of the match. Aldo Campana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amerigo Busillo made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anconetta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvaro Antonini was slow to take the kick. During this time Musigliano AFC's players had a chance to rest. Alvaro Antonini made a great header on Musigliano AFC's corner, it was just that Anconetta FC's Dave Barbanti managed to reach the ball for a save. When Anconetta FC's Fabrizio Crema in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Christian Fiore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Carlo Scirea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes Musigliano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Campana. When Aldo Campana got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Musigliano AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Crema in the 81st minute of play forced Musigliano AFC's goalkeeper Armin Iacovacci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Aldo Campana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dave Barbanti. Anconetta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldo Campana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Musigliano AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Musigliano AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
