One of Musigliano AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Savignano A Mare:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ernesto Pascali, was totally fooled by Musigliano AFC's Alvaro Antonini, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amerigo Busillo made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Aldo Campana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Pascali was relentless in the 65th minute of the game.
