Arrigo Salerno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Franceschelli made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Alessandro Masi sent off a good shot on target. Francesco Spitaleri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Masi got free with Anselmo Franceschelli in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Cangia AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bertoulla were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demetrio Nasuti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arrigo Salerno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Bruno Brillante made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Spitaleri in the 84th minute of play forced Bertoulla's goalkeeper Anselmo Franceschelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
