A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Fabiano Moschetta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sferracavallo's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Moschetta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Farese breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute of the match, Fabiano Moschetta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alvaro Farese saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Claudio Treglia fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fornaci's protests and gave Claudio Treglia a yellow card for diving instead. Domenico De Filippo, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Demetrio Granati was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fornaci's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sferracavallo the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sferracavallo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 37th match minute, Fornaci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Treglia to maneuver through the defense. Domenico De Filippo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Claudio Treglia got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 42 played minutes Fornaci got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Treglia. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bianco Pace was the one to do the kick off. Bianco Paces short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Dario Ascoli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Sferracavallo's Fabiano Moschetta in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fornaci's goalie prevented a goal. Ercole Maurizi hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Dario Ascoli made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Bianco Pace sent off a good shot on target. After 67th play minutes Bianco Pace shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Dario Ascoli and just under the crossbar into goal. Alvaro Farese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Tardelli in the 79th minute of the match. Aldo Tardelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alvaro Farese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ercole Maurizi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. The supporters of Sferracavallo booed when Fornaci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Maurizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Fabiano Moschetta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alvaro Farese was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the game, one of Fornaci:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Sferracavallo. Domenico De Filippo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alvaro Farese. 2-3.
