Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Villasanta's Andrea Cieri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Acquasanta booed when Villasanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Ceresoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villasanta's Fausto Tozzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Nicolo in the 4th minute of play. If Elia Cianci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrea Cieri struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Demetrio Pasqualone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villasanta. After some careless play in the Villasanta defense, Enzo Puglielli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Tozzi. The Villasanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Tozzi should have stopped the shot. Villasanta's Fausto Tozzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Puglielli in the 22nd minute of play. Acquasanta's Demetrio Pasqualone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Acquasanta from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Alvise Colaussi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Andrea Cieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Tozzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Canzano in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Nicolo in the 39th minute of play forced Villasanta's goalkeeper Fausto Tozzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Villasanta's Elia Cianci got a free kick in the 40th minute. Enzo Puglielli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Puglielli in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Tozzi saved Villasanta from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Acquasanta's Enzo Puglielli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Tozzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrea Cieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Demetrio Pasqualone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Puglielli made a kick off. When Alvaro Disastro fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acquasanta's protests and gave Alvaro Disastro a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Disastro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Alvise Colaussi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Demetrio Pasqualone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Puglielli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fausto Tozzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Tozzi came out of the goal and Enzo Puglielli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Puglielli hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Christian Canzano struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Fausto Tozzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acquasanta. In the 81st match minute, Villasanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Cicchetti to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Nicolo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Fausto Tozzi made a huge save. In the 85th match minute, Acquasanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Zoccolo to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Anselmo Nicolo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fausto Tozzi. The goal made the score 1-3. Anselmo Nicolo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Acquasanta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
