In the 5th minute, Ettore Casiraghi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmondo Cardillo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ramoscello's Dave Cugini couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marzabotto FC. In the 12th minute Davide Di Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Ettore Casiraghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Mazzei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marzabotto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Davide Di Matteo scored to the left of an out of position Federico Mancinelli, making the score, 1-0. Davide Di Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Mancinelli having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Piola got free with Federico Mancinelli in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marzabotto FC's Federico Mancinelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Marzabotto FC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Davide Di Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Mancinelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ettore Casiraghi in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Mazzei saved Ramoscello from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Ramoscello's zone, Fulvio Orsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Mazzei came out of the goal and Fulvio Orsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlo Piola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Mancinelli having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Ramoscello's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Orsi came free, but Armando Mazzei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Davide Di Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramoscello's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Di Matteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Mancinelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Mazzei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulvio Orsi's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Fulvio Orsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Mazzei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Piola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Federico Mancinelli made a huge save. Federico Mancinelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Di Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

54 minutes into the match, Ramoscello's Carlo Piola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Mancinelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramoscello's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dave Cugini in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Casiraghi got free with Armando Mazzei in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th match minute, Ramoscello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Malandra to maneuver through the defense. Marzabotto FC's Federico Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Piola in the 74th minute of play. Ettore Casiraghi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Armando Mazzei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ettore Casiraghi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Mancinelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Di Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Edmondo Cardillo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Marzabotto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Cardillo couldn't finish the play. Carlo Piola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramoscello were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marzabotto FC for a fine match.
