Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vigorovea FC's Fortunato Tocchetto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dave Magno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Barbanti having to interfere. Fortunato Tocchetto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fortunato Tocchetto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes, Cornocchio's Alex Genovese shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfonso Fanelli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cornocchio reached it. A collision led to Vigorovea FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cristiano Bergomi hit a great ball. Camillo Oroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Cornocchio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Oroni to maneuver through the defense. Cornocchio's Claudio Barbanti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Tocchetto in the 25th minute of play. Dave Magno in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claudio Barbanti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 39th minute, Domenico Fiori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Vigorovea FC's Amerigo Padula broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vigorovea FC's Fortunato Tocchetto got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camillo Di Iulio to make the kick off. Camillo Oroni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornocchio's Claudio Barbanti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Tocchetto in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferruccio De Francesco during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferruccio De Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Fortunato Tocchetto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Fanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Di Iulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Magno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Claudio Barbanti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Dave Magno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vigorovea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Magno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Fanelli made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Camillo Di Iulio sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Camillo Oroni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camillo Di Iulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinando Melucci was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Cornocchio's Ferdinando Melucci got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Fortunato Tocchetto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Barbanti having to make a save. Camillo Oroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Barbanti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Magno, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 95 played minutes Cornocchio got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Oroni. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cornocchio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vigorovea FC.
