Cristoforo De Donatis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Tondi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Carpineto booed when Grottaferrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Cameli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demetrio De Carolis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demetrio De Carolis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Cristoforo De Donatis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristoforo De Donatis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demetrio De Carolis in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amedeo Tondi in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo De Donatis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonello Villanis short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Cristoforo De Donatis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 33 minutes into the match, Carpineto's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Filippini came free, but Enzo Ferraris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Ferraris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damiano Filippini, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Claudio Garibaldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpineto's Enzo Ferraris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Grottaferrata getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Biagio Vitelli hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Amedeo Tondi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Tondi in the 53rd minute of play forced Grottaferrata's goalkeeper Cristoforo De Donatis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grottaferrata's zone, Demetrio De Carolis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristoforo De Donatis came out of the goal and Demetrio De Carolis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Antonello Cameli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Grottaferrata getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Biagio Giorgi hit a great ball. Federico Di Piazza, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cristoforo De Donatis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio De Carolis in the 62nd minute of the match. When Claudio Garibaldi came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Grottaferrata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Garibaldi couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Davide Ali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Claudio Garibaldi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Grottaferrata fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Carpineto a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Federico Di Piazza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Grottaferrata's Cristoforo De Donatis. 1-0. Carpineto's Amedeo Tondi got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabiano Leopardi hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Grottaferrata's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio De Carolis came free, but Cristoforo De Donatis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Damiano Filippini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grottaferrata's Claudio Garibaldi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Biagio Giorgi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grottaferrata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpineto the free kick. Biagio Giorgi kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Damiano Filippini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Ferraris was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
