Bargagli's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulvio Crognale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo De Donatis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bargagli played a much better game than Grottaferrata and deserved their victory. The Grottaferrata players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
